## Waste

Don't throw organic material in the trash because, once in a landfill, it
decomposes anaerobically producing methane, a potent greenhouse gas.

Compost dirty pizza boxes.  Recycle clean pizza boxes.

Buy compostable cotton buds only.  Don't buy cotton buds with a plastic handle.

Don't buy single-use coffee pods.  They are difficult to recycle because they
are made of a mix of plastic, aluminum and organic material.
