About

My name is Francesco Turco and this is my personal website.

Some informations about me:

  • I'm a 33-year-old Italian guy living near Milan
  • I'm a free software user, and I avoid proprietary software as far as possible; My favorite GNU/Linux distribution is Gentoo
  • I enjoy reading online articles about many interesting topics, such as environmental issues, personal productivity, minimalism, etc.
  • I became vegan in 2013; I was already 27 years old at that time, and I wish having learned about veganism at much younger age
  • I like Bitcoin and I use it to save most of my surplus money
  • I don't have a driver's license and I'm unwilling to get in a car as a passenger, too; I almost always get around by either walking or cycling; taking public transportation is also a valid option for me, but I rarely need to do that anymore
  • I'm an atheist and I believe the world would be a better place if religious people stopped being so irrational
